Cherry Bomb Cover Songs

I recently went to one of the P2P services to Download Cherry Bomb onto my Computer, And I found two very unusal versions of the classic. One was by the transexual Punk Jayne (Wayne) County and the other was a straight ahead punk version by Bratmobile. Has anyone heard of any other bands covering the Runaways. In My Cowpunk days I wish we would have done a country breakdown on Cherry Bomb...Whoa what an Imagination I Gots...Peace

Jayne County version is a treat to hear. Like the little Cherie dedication he does at the start. Doesn't forget the history of the song and who sings it best.

Thinking blind here but Im sure Shonen Knife did a Cherry Bomb too and whatshisface Jeff Dahl among others, few out there with good taste.

I know of two Cherry Bomb covers. One released by an Australian Band named Crashland in the late 80's. The other was released in 2000 by a dance band named 1plus1. The CD single included extended dance versions. The Crashland version is pretty true to the original only with a lot of keyboards. Oh and there was Joan's version with the Blackhearts - does that count?

According to All Music Guide http://www.allmusic.com/ "I Love Playin' With Fire" by Blondie is available on the boot "All the Children are Drunk".
